Electric Fence Materials and Pricing
These PVC pipes are one of the basic electric fence materials, used with insulators, wire and strainers to complete a fence line. The price of these electric fence pipes is shown on this page, sold as 2-metre lengths cut from a 4-metre pipe. Patsec supplies the full electric fence materials range — pipes, insupipes, insulators, wire and energizers — from Nairobi to sites countrywide; contact us for the quantity your fence requires.
How Electric Fence Pipes Are Used
The pipe is cut to length and fitted over the wire where it passes through a timber post or support, forming a non-conductive barrier between the electrified wire and the post so current does not leak to the ground. Choose the pipe inner diameter to match the wire size — 1.6mm or 2.5mm galvanized wire — and pair it with screw-on or W insulators at the tension points.
