What Is the TH-Mars 8?
The TH-Mars 8 is a farm energizer with selectable output for livestock fences and free-standing perimeters. It powers up to 40km of single-wire fence and draws only 3W, so it runs well from a battery charged by solar.
Specifications
- Output voltage: 7–10kV
- Pulse width: 100 microseconds
- Stored energy: 2 / 5 / 8 joules (selectable)
- Working distance: up to 40km of single-wire fence
- Maximum consumption: 3W
Uses
The selectable output lets you use a low setting for short paddock fences and a higher setting for longer or weedier lines. For more power, see the TH-Mars 12. Pair it with galvanized HT wire, insulators and warning signs.
