Krone Punch Down Tool – LSA Insertion Tool with Wire Cutter

KSh 700.00

Krone punch down tool (LSA insertion tool) for fast, accurate wire termination on Krone blocks, patch panels and keystone jacks. It inserts and trims the wire in one action for clean, secure Cat5e and Cat6 connections every time.

Description

Krone Punch Down Tool for Network, Telephone and CCTV Installers

The Krone punch down tool is an essential tool for network, telephone, and CCTV installers in Kenya. It’s designed for LSA-type insulation displacement connectors (IDC), and it seats each conductor firmly into the terminal while the built-in cutter trims the excess wire in the same motion. You get a tight, reliable connection with no stripping needed and no loose ends left behind.

The tool has an ergonomic, non-slip handle for comfortable use during long installation jobs. It also includes a built-in wire extraction hook for removing terminated wires cleanly, so you can make corrections without damaging the block. Its sensor guides help you position the tool correctly every time, which prevents over-insertion and protects the contacts.

It’s ideal for terminating Cat5e and Cat6 cable on Krone disconnection modules, patch panels, keystone jacks, and telephone distribution frames. It’s a must-have for any structured cabling or security installation toolkit.

How to Use a Krone Punch Down Tool

  1. Untwist the cable pair only as far as needed and lay each conductor in its slot following the colour code (T568A or T568B).
  2. Place the tool squarely over the conductor with the cutting side facing the waste end of the wire.
  3. Push down firmly until the tool engages. The wire is seated and the excess trimmed in one motion.
  4. Use the extraction hook to lift out any wire that needs re-terminating.
