Description
12ft 4-by-3 Folding Ladder Price in Kenya
The current sale price is KSh 10,000, reduced from KSh 15,000. This 4-by-3 multipurpose aluminium ladder has 12 steps, supports up to 150kg and sets up as an A-frame, a straight ladder or a low scaffold platform.
What Does 4 by 3 Ladder Mean?
The ladder has four hinged sections with three rungs per section, giving 12 rungs in total. Steel hinges with automatic locks join the aluminium sections and hold them in each working position.
Ladder Configurations and Heights
- Straight ladder: about 3.50m (11.5ft)
- A-frame step ladder: 1.70m (5.6ft)
- Scaffold platform: 0.95m (3.1ft) — fit a suitable platform deck before standing on it
Safe working height depends on the configuration, leaning angle and highest permitted rung. Engage every hinge lock before climbing.
Specifications
- Steps: 12 (4 sections × 3)
- Maximum load: 150kg, including the user, tools and materials
- Folded size: about 1.01m long × 0.37m wide

Uses at Home and Work
The different positions suit painting, cleaning, stock handling, CCTV and alarm installation, and general maintenance. Choose the configuration before carrying tools onto the ladder.
Rubber Feet and Safe Setup
Rubber feet improve grip and protect floors on clean, firm, level ground. Do not use the ladder on wet, loose or sloping surfaces, and inspect hinges, pins and rungs before each use.
Storage and Transport
Folded to about 1m, it fits in most car boots. Secure the sections closed before carrying, and store it dry.
Electrical Safety
Aluminium conducts electricity. Keep the ladder away from exposed wiring and overhead lines; for electrical work, choose a non-conductive fiberglass multipurpose ladder.
Other Multipurpose Ladder Sizes
Compare the smaller 4-by-2 and the larger 16ft 4-by-4, 20ft 4-by-5, 24ft 4-by-6 and 4-by-7 folding ladders.
