Solar Monkey Repeller Price in Kenya

The current price is KSh 3,500. This solar-powered motion alarm uses flashing red LEDs, selectable sounds and custom recordings to discourage monkeys from selected outdoor areas.

What Is a Monkey Repeller?

A monkey repeller is a deterrent device that reacts to movement with light and sound. It is intended to make protected areas less comfortable for visiting animals without requiring permanent mains power.

Infrared Motion Detection Range

The stated detection distance is 5–8m. Detection varies with temperature, sunlight, mounting angle, vegetation and the size and movement of the animal.

24-Hour and Night-Only Modes

The device can activate motion-triggered flashing and sound throughout the day or only at night. Select the mode that matches when monkeys enter the property.

Animal Deterrent Sounds

Selectable sounds include dog barking, gunshot, wolf howl, eagle call, firecrackers, lion roar, explosion, horn, alarm, bell and siren effects. Results vary as animals may become used to a repeated sound.

Record a Custom Deterrent Message

The unit can record up to 15 seconds of audio and replay it twice after detection. Changing recordings and device position periodically may reduce habituation.

Solar and 5V DC Charging

The 5V 150mA panel needs more than eight hours of suitable sunlight for solar charging. A compatible 5V 1A supply can charge the 3.7V 1200mAh battery in under two hours.

How Much Area Can One Repeller Cover?

Coverage follows the sensor’s 5–8m detection zone rather than an entire one-acre farm. Larger farms or areas with several approach routes may require multiple units positioned at likely entry points.

Where to Install a Monkey Scare Device

Mount the unit facing paths, crop edges, fruit trees or other known entry areas, with the solar panel receiving direct sunlight. Avoid moving branches, direct glare and heat sources that can cause false alarms.

Using the Repeller as Part of Farm Protection

For better control, combine the device with secure fencing, removal of food attractants and regular changes to sound and placement. No electronic deterrent can guarantee that monkeys will stay away permanently.

Other Solar Security Products

To deter intruders rather than animals, see the solar infrared sensor alarm with remote control. To watch the farm remotely, add the triple-lens 4G solar camera.
