Sherlotronics 12V AC/DC relay board for switching and isolating compatible alarm, electric-fence and control circuits.
The current price is KSh 450. This relay board accepts a 12V AC or DC control supply and provides normally open, normally closed and common contacts.
A relay board lets a low-voltage control signal switch or isolate another electrical circuit. It is commonly used between alarm, electric-fence and access-control equipment.
Full bridge rectification allows the board to operate from a compatible 12V AC or 12V DC source. Confirm the supply voltage before connection.
The relay provides normally open and normally closed outputs with a common contact. These terminals allow an installer to change the switching behaviour required by the connected equipment.
The board can convert a normally closed trigger into a normally open output, or vice versa, where compatible alarm and control devices require different contact logic.
Relay isolation can protect a sensitive transmitter or alarm input from direct connection to an electric-fence energizer output. Wiring must follow the ratings and instructions for both devices.
The relay may be used to control compatible sirens, strobe lights and higher-voltage lighting circuits. Do not exceed the relay contact rating, and use a qualified installer for mains-voltage wiring.
The onboard LED shows when the relay circuit is active, helping with setup and fault checks.
The common contact is potentially free, allowing the relay to switch a separate compatible circuit without directly carrying the trigger voltage into that circuit.
Common pairings include the alarm siren kit, the Sherlotronics 12V timer module and the RX4-500 receiver. Mount it in a waterproof adaptor box outdoors.
Buy the Sherlotronics 12V AC/DC relay board from Patsec Security Store at Accra Road, White Angle House, first floor, shop 76, Nairobi. Provide the devices and voltages being connected so suitability can be checked.
