What Is a Mimic Base?

A mimic base receives remote activations and identifies the programmed user or location for an operator.

Capacity for 2,000 Remotes

The MB4000 stores up to 2,000 compatible remotes, supporting larger estates, shopping centres and managed facilities.

Adding Remotes by SMS

Administrators can learn compatible remotes through SMS commands. Use controlled administrator numbers and keep enrolment records current.

SMS Input and Output Commands

SMS commands support selected programming and control functions. Mobile-network service and correct configuration are required.

Monitoring Software and Event Reports

The graphical monitoring software supports user codes, reporting and full event logging so operators can review activations and actions.

RS485 Receiver Bus

An RS485 data bus connects compatible receivers to the mimic base. Follow the supported cable, termination and distance requirements.

microSD Backup and USB 2.0

A microSD card supports backup, while USB 2.0 provides a compatible computer connection. Maintain current backups of system programming.

Custom 40-Character Location Text

Each programmed entry can use custom text of up to 40 characters to help operators identify the user, shop or zone.

Internal Buzzer and Time Retention

An internal buzzer provides audible notification. The unit also retains date and time for several days when power is removed.

MB4000 Applications

Typical compatible uses include shopping-centre panic systems, nurse-call systems, retirement villages, housing estates, office parks and resorts.

Receivers and Remotes for the MB4000

Connect Sherlotronics RX4-500 receivers across the site and issue users the PTX1 panic button, pendant panic remote or code-hopping remote.
