Description
JVA Wi-Fi Gateway Price in Kenya
The JVA Wi-Fi Gateway is currently on offer at KSh 17,000 (down from KSh 18,000, excluding VAT). It adds remote phone and PC monitoring to an existing or new JVA Z-series electric fence installation.
What Does the JVA Wi-Fi Gateway Do?
The gateway is a small communication board that links a group of JVA Z-series energizers, fence monitors and accessories to the JVA Cloud Router over Wi-Fi. Once connected, you can see each energizer’s status, arm and disarm zones and receive alarms from anywhere, instead of having to stand at the keypad.
JVA Wi-Fi Gateway Features
- Mounts inside the energizer enclosure
- Connects up to 15 JVA Z-series energizers, monitors and accessories
- Monitor and control the site from anywhere with the Cloud Router app
- Bandwidth-saving protocol — only sends new information when something changes, keeping data use low
- Cloud Router can send alerts by SMS, email or Facebook Messenger
- Event history logging: see what happened, when, and who authorised it
Compatible JVA Energizers
The gateway works with JVA Z-series security energizers, including the JVA Z13, Z14, Z18 and two-zone Z28, as well as JVA fence monitors such as the BM1. On-site control is still available through the JVA 4-Line LCD keypad.
Who Needs a Wi-Fi Gateway?
It suits estates, schools, warehouses, farms and multi-zone commercial sites where a manager or security company needs to see fence status remotely, and homeowners who travel and want alerts on their phone. Event logging also helps when you need to check which zone alarmed and who disarmed it.
Installation
The gateway fits inside a Z-series energizer enclosure and needs Wi-Fi coverage at that location. If the energizer is far from the router, plan for a Wi-Fi extender or outdoor access point. Our team can install and configure the gateway and Cloud Router as part of a full fence installation.
