Description
Grandstream GWN7664ELR Price in Kenya
The current price is KSh 18,500. The GWN7664ELR is an enterprise outdoor Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point built for long-range coverage across compounds, campuses, hotels, estates and open commercial areas.
Wi-Fi 6 Performance
Dual-band 4×4:4 MU-MIMO with OFDMA gives a stated 6Gbps aggregate wireless throughput and lets the access point serve many devices at once. Grandstream lists support for up to 512 concurrent clients.
Long-Range Outdoor Coverage
Eight internal antennas provide a stated coverage range of up to 300 metres. Real coverage depends on mounting height, trees, buildings, interference and the client devices in use, so plan placement with a site survey.
2.5G Ethernet and SFP Uplinks
The unit has a 2.5Gbps RJ45 port and a 2.5Gbps SFP port, so it can connect over copper or fibre. Fibre is useful for long runs between buildings or where lightning exposure is a concern.
PoE and PoE+ Power
The access point detects whether it is fed by PoE or PoE+ and adjusts its power use automatically. A PoE+ switch or injector is recommended for full performance.
Management Options
An embedded controller can manage up to 50 local GWN access points without extra hardware. Larger networks can use Grandstream GDMS Networking in the cloud or the on-premise GWN Manager software.
Security
Secure boot, digitally signed firmware, a unique security certificate and a random default password per device help protect the network from tampering.
Related Networking Products
Power and connect the access point with the Netis 16-port PoE switch and Hikvision Cat6 cable. For a lower-cost outdoor option, compare the Ruijie RG-RAP6262(G) and Tenda OAP1200.
