Description
Garrett SuperWand Price in Kenya
The current sale price is KSh 4,500, reduced from KSh 5,500. This handheld detector uses a 360-degree detection field with tip pinpointing and audible or silent vibration alerts.
What Is the Garrett SuperWand Metal Detector?
The Garrett SuperWand is a handheld security scanner used to locate concealed metallic objects during entrance screening. Its slim shape supports controlled scanning around the body and carried items.
360-Degree Metal Detection Field
The detection area surrounds the scanning wand, providing sensitivity along its length. Operators do not need to present only one flat side to the target.
Tip Pinpointing for Accurate Searches
The tip can help narrow down the position of a detected object after the main sweep triggers an alert. This supports more targeted follow-up screening.
Audible and Silent Vibration Alarms
Operators can use a clear audible alarm or silent vibration with LED indication. Silent mode suits locations where discreet screening is preferred.
9V Battery Operation
The SuperWand operates from a 9V battery and has an accessible battery cover. Keep a charged replacement available and test the scanner before each shift.
Where Garrett Wand Detectors Are Used
Typical locations include events, hotels, schools, courts, airports, offices and controlled building entrances. Staff should be trained in consistent and respectful screening procedures.
How to Use a Garrett SuperWand
Switch on the unit, verify detection with a known test item and move the wand slowly and consistently close to the screening area. Use the tip to locate an alarm source more precisely.
SuperWand vs Super Scanner V
The SuperWand emphasises 360-degree detection and tip pinpointing, while the Super Scanner V uses a broad flat scanning area. Select the format that best matches the operator’s screening procedure.
Other Security Screening Equipment
Pair the wand with a walk-through metal detector for primary screening, and use the under-vehicle search mirror at vehicle gates.
