Description
Fire Blanket 1.8m x 1.8m Price in Kenya
The current sale price is KSh 2,500, reduced from KSh 3,000. This large fibreglass fire blanket smothers small fires by cutting off oxygen, and can be wrapped around a person whose clothes have caught fire.
Why the Large Size?
At 1.8m × 1.8m it covers large cooking pans and fryers and can wrap an adult fully, making it suitable for commercial kitchens, labs, workshops and fuel stations.
How to Use
- Pull the tapes sharply to release the blanket.
- Hold it to shield your hands and place it over the fire.
- Turn off the heat source if safe.
- Leave the blanket in place for several minutes until everything has cooled.
A blanket that has been used on a fire should be replaced.
Where to Mount
Hang it near the fire risk and on the escape side, for example beside the kitchen door, or inside a cupboard door near the cooker at home.
