Description
Electric Fence Tester and Voltmeter
An electric fence tester voltmeter measures the voltage on the fence line so you can see whether the fence is live and where power is being lost. Digital electric fence voltmeters read the pulsed high voltage from any energizer and show the result on a display, which makes them the standard tool for fault-finding: walk the line, test at each point, and locate the section where the voltage drops. A lower reading than usual usually means a short from vegetation, a broken insulator or a poor earth.
