CCTV Closed Power Supply Unit 12 Volts 10 Amperes

Description

12V 10A CCTV Power Supply Price in Kenya

The current price is KSh 2,000. This enclosed power supply distributes 12V DC power across nine fused outputs for compatible CCTV equipment.

What Is a CCTV Power Supply Box?

A CCTV power supply box converts mains electricity to the 12V DC supply used by compatible cameras and distributes the output from one protected enclosure.

10-Amp Power Capacity

The unit provides a stated total capacity of 10 amps. The combined current required by all connected cameras must remain within the supply’s safe rated load, including night-time infrared consumption.

Nine Fused CCTV Power Outputs

Nine outputs allow multiple cameras to be powered from one central point. Individual fused circuits help isolate a fault so one damaged cable or camera is less likely to interrupt every connected device.

Choosing the Correct Power Supply for CCTV Cameras

Confirm that each device requires 12V DC and calculate the total current demand. Allow adequate spare capacity and check cable distance and voltage drop before installation.

Closed Metal Enclosure for Organised Wiring

The enclosed format keeps power distribution and fuses organised at a central location. Install the box in a dry, ventilated, serviceable position away from unauthorised access.

CCTV Power Supply Installation

Mains wiring should be completed safely by a qualified installer. Observe DC polarity, fit suitable cable, label each output and test the voltage at the camera before connecting sensitive equipment.

Common CCTV Power Problems

Camera restarts, rolling lines, infrared failure or intermittent video can result from overload, voltage drop, incorrect polarity, poor joints, damaged cable or a failed output fuse. Test the complete circuit before replacing the camera.

CCTV Installation Accessories

Protect camera joints in a 100 × 100 × 70 waterproof adaptor box, and show your recorder on several screens with the 4-way HDMI splitter. For sites without power, see the triple-lens 4G solar camera.
