What Does 4 by 3 Ladder Mean?

The ladder has four hinged sections with three steps per section, giving 12 steps in total. The folding joints support several approved working positions.

12-Foot Aluminium Ladder Working Height

The stated maximum extended length is approximately 12ft or 4m. Safe working height depends on the configuration, support and highest permitted step.

Multipurpose Folding Ladder Configurations

The ladder can be arranged into compatible self-supporting and leaning positions. Use only approved configurations and fully engage every hinge lock.

150kg Maximum Load Capacity

The stated maximum load is 150kg. Include the user, clothing, tools and carried materials in the total.

Automatic Push-Lock Hinges

The hinges use an automatic locking system to hold the folding sections. Inspect every joint and confirm it is locked before climbing.

Rubber Feet and Floor Protection

Rubber feet improve grip and help prevent scratching on clean, firm floors. They do not make the ladder safe on wet, loose or sloping surfaces.

12ft Ladder for Home and Worksite Use

The ladder suits compatible cleaning, painting, installation and maintenance tasks indoors or outdoors where it can be positioned safely.

Storage and Transport

Fold the sections fully and secure them before carrying or vehicle transport. Store the ladder dry and inspect hinges after any impact.

Electrical Safety

Aluminium conducts electricity. Do not use this ladder near exposed wiring, energised equipment or overhead power lines.
