Description

4-by-7 Aluminium Foldable Ladder Price in Kenya

The current price is KSh 28,000. This 28-step multipurpose ladder forms a 3.94m A-frame, a 7.98m straight ladder or a stated 2.07m scaffold configuration.

What Does 4 by 7 Ladder Mean?

The ladder has four hinged sections with seven rungs per section, giving 28 rungs in total. Its aluminium frame uses steel hinges between the folding sections.

Aluminium Folding Ladder Configurations

The ladder supports approved A-frame, straight-ladder and scaffold positions. Lock every hinge fully and follow the supplied instructions for each configuration.

7.98m Fully Extended Ladder

In the straight position, the stated length is 7.98m or 26.18ft. Safe working height depends on the angle, top support and highest rung permitted for use.

3.94m A-Frame Step Ladder

The self-supporting A-frame height is stated as 3.94m or 12.93ft. Because of the size, assess floor space, stability and overhead hazards before opening it.

2.07m Scaffold Platform Configuration

The stated scaffold height is 2.07m or 6.64ft. Use the correct platform deck, supports and guard measures required for working at that height.

Folded Size and Ladder Weight

The ladder folds to approximately 2.13m, measures 0.37m wide and weighs about 19.5kg. Plan for safe two-person handling where required.

Foldable Ladder for High-Level Work

The ladder suits compatible painting, installation, cleaning and building-maintenance tasks. Complete a working-at-height assessment before each setup.

Hinge and Rung Inspection

Check steel hinges, locking pins, aluminium rungs, feet and rails before use. Remove the ladder from service if any part is bent, loose or damaged.

Electrical Safety

Aluminium conducts electricity. Do not use this ladder near overhead lines, exposed wiring or energised equipment.

Other Multipurpose Ladder Sizes

If you don’t need this much reach, compare the 20ft 4-by-5 and 24ft 4-by-6 folding ladders. For electrical work at height, choose the non-conductive fiberglass multipurpose ladder or fiberglass extension ladder.
