Where to Use High-Strain Insulators
Use them at the ends and corners of tensioned high-tensile fences, on free-standing perimeter and game fences, and anywhere the wire carries heavy tension. Allow one insulator per live wire at each end or strain point — a fence with six lines needs six at each end. Pair them with 2.5mm galvanized HT wire and tension the line with a chain wire strainer.
