12V 5A Access Control Power Supply Price in Kenya

The current sale price is KSh 1,800, reduced from KSh 2,800. This enclosed unit accepts 220V AC and supplies 12V DC at up to 5A for compatible access-control equipment.

What Is an Access Control Power Supply Unit?

An access-control power supply converts mains electricity to low-voltage DC and provides terminals for locks, readers, exit buttons and control signals.

12V 5A Power Output

The rated output is 12V DC at 5A. Add the current required by every connected device and retain suitable capacity for lock startup and reliable operation.

Power Supply for Magnetic Locks and Electric Bolts

Normally closed and normally open outputs support compatible magnetic locks, electric strikes and bolts. Confirm voltage, current and fail-safe or fail-secure operation before wiring.

Access Control Battery Backup Connection

A battery terminal allows connection of a compatible backup battery so the system can continue during a power cut. The 12V 7Ah battery is not included.

Is This an Access Control UPS?

The unit can provide backup operation when a suitable battery is fitted, but runtime depends on battery condition and the total connected load. Calculate the required duration before installation.

Adjustable Door Unlock Delay

The release delay can be set from 0 to 10 seconds. Configure enough time for entry without leaving the door unnecessarily unsecured.

Compatible ZKTeco Readers and Door Components

The supply can power compatible equipment such as the ZKTeco F18, magnetic locks and related access-control components. Confirm the combined power demand for the complete door.

Protective Enclosure and Dimensions

The stated enclosure measures 215 × 170 × 75mm and includes an automatic protective function. Install it in a dry, secure and serviceable location.

Access Control Power Supply Installation

A qualified installer should connect the 220V AC input, protective earth, battery, lock and release controls, then test normal operation, backup power and emergency exit.

What to Connect

The supply powers a 280kg magnetic lock and a reader such as the ZKTeco F18, with a push exit button or no-touch exit sensor on the release input. Add a 12V 7Ah backup battery so the door stays secure during power cuts.
