The current price of the JVA SV20 Solar Electric Fence Energizer is KSh 70,000 (excluding VAT). It is the largest unit in JVA’s SV solar range and arrives complete with its solar panel, lithium battery, regulator and pole-mounting hardware.

The SV20 is an all-in-one solar energizer for off-grid electric fences. Its integrated solar panel charges a 12Ah lithium (LiFePO4) battery, and an included 24V DC plug pack lets you top up the battery from mains when there has been a run of cloudy days. It is ready to use straight out of the box.

The SV20 suits livestock paddocks, shambas and crop plots needing protection from animals, and free-standing fences far from a power point. The lithium battery lasts longer and holds charge better than lead-acid, which matters for fences that run every night. For smaller fences, compare the JVA SV10; for long fences with mains or battery power, see the JVA MB8.

Mount the SV20 on a pole facing the sun, away from shade. Use a solid earth system and keep grass and branches off the live wires. Pair it with 2.5mm galvanized high-tensile wire, strainer insulators and warning signs. Use our fence cost calculator to estimate the rest of the materials.

Buy the JVA SV20 from Patsec Security Store at Accra Road, White Angle House, first floor, shop 76, Nairobi. Same-day delivery is available within Nairobi, and we supply and install free-standing fences across Kenya.
