The current price of the JVA SV10 Solar Electric Fence Energizer is KSh 55,000 (excluding VAT). The price covers the complete unit: energizer, solar panel, battery and mounting bracket are all built in.

The SV10 is an all-in-one solar energizer for electric fences away from mains power. The solar panel charges the internal battery during the day, and the energizer runs the fence day and night. Because everything is integrated, there is no separate panel, regulator or battery to buy and wire up — mount it on a post and connect the fence and earth.

The SV10 suits off-grid livestock paddocks, strip grazing, kitchen gardens and crop plots that need protection from animals, and temporary fences that move during the season. It works well with electric fence polywire and portable plastic fence posts. It is a farm energizer rather than a monitored security unit; for a home perimeter fence with alarms, choose a security energizer such as the JVA QT13.

JVA’s SV range all come with their own solar panels. The SV2 and SV5 are smaller units for short fences, while the SV20 has a higher output and a lithium battery for longer or more heavily loaded fences.

JVA Solar Energizer Range
