The current price is KSh 4,000. The TP-Link TL-SF1016DS 16-port 10/100Mbps unmanaged switch adds wired network connections for offices, schools, CCTV installations and busy homes.

Sixteen 10/100Mbps RJ45 ports connect desktops, printers, IP cameras, access points, NVRs and other network devices to your router through one switch. Ports auto-negotiate speed and support auto MDI/MDIX. Fast Ethernet is ideal for CCTV cameras, IP phones and everyday office use; for large file transfers between computers, a gigabit switch is faster.

The steel case can sit on a desk or be mounted in a 19-inch rack.

No configuration is needed. Connect the switch to your router and plug in your devices.

The fanless design runs silently, and Green Ethernet technology reduces power use on idle ports.

This switch does not power devices. For IP cameras and access points that need PoE, use the Netis 16-port PoE switch.

For smaller setups, see the TP-Link 8-port switch. Cable the network with D-Link Cat6 cable and the pass-through RJ45 crimp tool.

Buy the TP-Link 16-port switch from Patsec Security Store at Accra Road, White Angle House, first floor, shop 76, Nairobi.
