An adaptor or junction box houses cable joints, connectors, power adapters and small control components. A correctly sealed enclosure helps protect the contents from dust, splashes and accidental contact.

The enclosure measures 200mm long, 200mm wide and 80mm deep. Check the equipment size, cable bends and mounting space before ordering.

The box can house compatible CCTV connections, alarm wiring, electric-fence joints and gate-control components. Confirm that the enclosure provides enough space and the required environmental protection for the installation.

Use correctly sized waterproof glands for every cable entry. Unsealed holes, damaged seals or unsuitable glands can allow water into the enclosure.

Mount the box securely on a stable surface, route cable entries downward where practical and tighten the lid screws evenly. Avoid pinching the gasket or crushing cables.

Allow room around terminals and power units for safe wiring and service access. Choose a deeper or larger box when several connectors or bulky adapters must be installed.

For single camera joints, see the 85 × 85 × 50 or 100 × 100 × 70 boxes.
