A walk-through detector screens people as they pass through an archway and alerts security staff when it detects a metallic object above the configured sensitivity.

Independent lights on both side panels indicate the approximate height and side of one or more detected objects. This helps staff focus follow-up screening on the relevant area.

Transmitters and receivers in each panel scan from both sides of the passageway. The arrangement supports more uniform coverage across the arch.

The system provides an adjustable audible tone and volume together with bright visual alarm indicators. Sensitivity and alarm settings should match the site’s screening policy.

Four counting modes support forward, reverse, reverse subtraction and two-way counting. The counter can help estimate the number of people screened during an operating period.

Entrance-side symbols tell users when to wait and when to pass through. Clear pacing reduces crowding and supports consistent screening intervals.

More than 20 stated standard programs provide settings for different screening requirements. A trained installer should select and test the correct program using approved test objects.

The stated interior passage is 0.76m wide, 2.03m high and 0.58m deep. Confirm doorway clearance, floor level and surrounding space before delivery.

The detector accepts 100–240V AC at 50 or 60Hz and uses a stated 45W. Provide a stable supply and suitable backup power where screening must continue during outages.

Typical applications include airports, courts, schools, events, hotels, government buildings, offices and secure industrial sites.

A walk-through arch screens every person passing through the entrance and shows roughly where a detected object is. A handheld wand such as the Garrett Super Scanner V or Garrett SuperWand is used for a closer follow-up check after an alarm. Most busy checkpoints use both.

Use a handheld detector for secondary checks after an alarm: the Garrett Super Scanner V or Garrett SuperWand. For bags, see the ZKTeco ZKX5030A X-ray scanner, and for vehicles the under-vehicle search mirror.

This model costs KSh 230,000, excluding VAT.
